Charlize Theron and Pieter-Dirk Uys visit Eastern Cape Youth

Benoni-born Hallywood starlet Charlize Theron this week enjoyed some time in East London and King Wlliam's Town, in support of her Africa Outreach Project charity arganisation.
According to DispatchLive, Theron's trip to the Eastern Cape was very hush-hush, and that there was a strict 'no photographs' policy, reportedly because of an exclusive deal with America's 'Today Show'.
The publication reports that the 40-year-old actress, and founder of the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, arrived at the Mpongo Private Game Reserve near East London on Tuesday, where she has been staying.
Apparently accompanied by renowned satirist Pieter-Dirk Uys, the 'Monster' actress on Wednesday visited the Mngqeshe Great Place near King William's Town, for a hearing aid drive.
Speaking to DispatchLive, East London acoustician Brandon Schlimper -- who helped fit over 300 hearing aids during the drive -- said a casually-dressed Theron "was making sounds like 'ba-ba'ba'" in the ears of children to "see if they could hear".
Theron and Uys have also visited two Department of Health clinics and the Ngwenyathi Secondary School in Newlands in aid of the actress's charity, which aims to help keep the African youth safe from HIV/Aids.
Said Dr Paul Cromhout, who runs Charlize's Bright Futures Programme, and who accompanied the duo on these visits: "It was really lovely to have her and her staff and visitors" The children at the school went quite wild with excitement and when they saw her they were nearly falling out of the windows of the classrooms. They were jumping up and down and cheering. It was lovely.
She spoke to everyone and engaged actively with people with a huge amount of grace. Pieter-Dirk Uys gave a talk on HIV/Aids prevention and was awesome."
